Hello — I’m Sean McIntyre, and I have the privilege of pastoring Colchester City Church, an Assemblies of God church in the heart of Essex.

My conviction is that faith comes by hearing — that when the Bible is opened and taught plainly, God does the work. So that’s what I give myself to: preaching through Scripture book by book, verse by verse, in a way that’s serious about the text and honest about life. No hype, no shortcuts — just the Word, taught for people who genuinely want to grow.

Beyond Sunday mornings, I share sermons, short teaching segments and quotes across YouTube and social media, and I write here on the blog about faith, prayer and the spiritual life. I’m also involved in community work in Colchester, because I believe the gospel is good news for a whole town, not just a congregation.
